2. Nov 11,  · Groovin' contains lots of great songs:A Girl Like You, the romantic How Can I Be Sure, the title cut, If You Knew, the jazz-inflected It's Love, and my favorite A Place in the Sun which at almost 5 minutes long, was unusually long for a song of that period/5(22).

6. "How Can I Be Sure" reached #4 on the Hot in Billboard in October , ranking as the most successful (Young) Rascals' hit featuring a lead vocal by Eddie Brigati. The single's B-side: "I'm So Happy Now" (also included on the Groovin' album), was written and sung by Rascals guitarist Gene Cornish. Featuring a unique guitar phase-out ending.

The Young Rascals would eventually change their name to the Rascals after the release of the Groovin’ album. The band would experience more chart success.
