1. Colleen Rennison's performances on her debut solo album See The Sky About To Rain are so powerful and unforced with every arrangement so perfectly in tune with the singer's moods that it would be very difficult to pick a single highlight from the album/5(17).

2. "See The Sky About To Rain" is the second track on On the Beach and the only one not written specifically for the album. It had been written years earlier and was already familiar with audiences as a live play in It's not clear why this is the one song transplanted from the past.

3. Mar 06,  · I particularly enjoyed 'Whiskey, Whiskey', 'Coyote' [a more country less jazzy version of a Joni Mitchell song] and Neil Young's 'See the Sky About to Rain'. I also like the aforementioned 'Fancy' and 'The Fool Is The Last one To Know', so the album is an enjoyable mix of styles with some great songs sung by a very strong soulful singer and this all makes for a lovely listen/5(16).
